childhood memories..

few days back, after back from uncle house "tom yam session".

i was thinking of a lot of my childhood fun things while driving back... n i feel happy :)

my parents are both busy runnin their business when im young, my aunt actually grew me up till im like 12.. i see my mum once in a while, my dad once in a month or maybe just once in two months..

my couzie, who is 8 years elder than me owez cycle me to the kindergarten.. :)  i wish i could find all the pixies. playing badminton n hide n seek, police n thieves also masak masak is wat i used to do with them! oh.. also watching drama.. they r lots elder than me so i seems to be a lil adult when im with my elder couzies, n kid when im with the neighbours..


masak masak game

So! wat i used to play when im a kid! The "masak-masak" is so called cooking game, so there is father, mother, sister, brother. And then we will therefore pluck all the leaves or anything else to cook n maybe other leaves or flower to treat it as money to buy "food" from the others.. we used to find the old wok n unwanted pan as our utensils..  its fun.. i still remember when playing "Police & Thieves", i hate becumin e police, coz u gotta catch all the thieves and when the other thieves cum n save them u gotta run n run all over again just to catch them back. Aha! 

hide n seek

my aunt then bcum my mum's neighbour when i turned 7. my mum n dad still busy as usual, i get to see them, very seldom. i have more couzies n neighbours definately by then. Hide n seek, masak-masak are still must, but now more games. My couzies taught me how to play "three-sandals", tis is actually a game where u make the three sandals to be stand in triangle. A will be standing at the drawn line n shoot e three sandals, if it falls, A person will be using one sandals to shoot at any other player feet, if B person got shoot, then he/she is out. hahaha!

Another game, called "A Seng". this is fun.. but i do not noe how could i explain how the game to be played. i tried to see if there is any picture that i kept. Picture is much more better than my game telling.. :) Next will be e marble game! if there is 3 players, u gotta come out one deal, each person gotta take out let says 5 marbles to bet. So it depends on hw u wan the 15 marbles to be arranged on the ground, and each one have chance to shoot at the drawn line, the one who shot can get all e marbles! there is once, my couzie n i were betting, i won and he blame my other couzie n they fought, just blame out of nothing! hahaha!

u can also just gather all the marble n draw a circle~

we played oso, "tiao fei ji" (mandarin) it means "jumping plane". this is simple, just draw the box on the floor, using either left or right leg to jump on it. Each level has different jumping style u just cannot drop ur leg. E fun part is when u complete each level, u gotta throw the stone backward. if u threw out of the line, u r out, if it is in, u gona collect the stone back (frontward) either bending or drawling as long as ur body n ur leg which u used to jump dun touch the ground.

my couzies, nephews, neighbours used to play at the slop behind our house, it is much more higher than the picture below! we just care nothing scare of nothing! my sis were saying. i bet none of u dare to do like wat u used to do liek before today! yeah i guess so.. there is still so many about my childhood game perhaps , continue the next time!

o/s :  my sis, my nieces n i were chatting over the chinese new year, we talk about wat we have played.. i miss not e expensive toy set gift from my sis (she used to buy me lots toys, after tat very THICK book, after i turn 11! ) but all the above.. the "toys" without paying single cents but dirty butt evytime when we got back home.. haha! i miss e time when im so stress-free.. i <3 being a kid..
